“So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God”.
Often times when we excel in areas of our lives we tend to forget the Lord and his word. We become so caught up in our success that we lose sight of what is truly important. In fact, many of us only turn to God when things don’t work out.
Colossians 1:10 reminds us to “live a life worthy of the lord and please him in every way”. In everything we do let us walk worthy by keeping ourselves active in reading his word, attending church and taking part in spiritual activities. That we may be fruitful in our works and add to our knowledge of him.
I encourage you all, as children of God to make it your responsibility to continuously seek God in all that we do. Let us walk according to his word and keep in our hearts his scriptures, mediating on them throughout our days. By doing these things we will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, prospering in all that we do. (Psalm 1:3).
-Be worthy by staying planted in the word
