“I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord” -Jeremiah 29:11
Don’t try to figure things out, trust the Lord and thank him in advance. Thank him for the good that will come from all you are going through. God has plans to give us a future and hope.
Philippians 4 6-7
6 Don’t worry about anything. No matter what happens, tell God about everything. Ask and pray, and give thanks to him. 7 Then God’s peace will watch over your hearts and your minds. He will do this because you belong to Christ Jesus. God’s peace can never be completely understood.
Come to God will all your needs, knowing that He can and will supply. Stay in continual communication with Him so that you can live above your circumstances even while you are in the midst of them. Present your request to God with thanksgiving, He will guard your heart. –Sarah Young
Joshua 1:5-9 New International Reader’s Version (NIRV) (Bible Gateway)
5. “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. 6. Be strong and courageous, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land that I swore to their fathers to give them. 7. Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success[a] wherever you go. 8. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
-God encourages us to “be strong and courageous“. He is always with us, through every situation. Come to God and rest in his loving presence. Focus only on Him and Him alone. Keep His words and do not let them “depart from your mouth”. Spend quality time each day, mediating on His words, so that when difficult times occur, we can stand confidently in Christ knowing that He is working things out. Trust in the Lord and His goodness.
Have faith in God, stay close to Him in your darkest moments.
“Fear not, for I with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”.
Spending quality time with God will prepare us for the journey ahead. God will thoroughly equip us for what is to come. His presence is our companion each step of the way. It is the best road map available. – Sarah Young
